Unfortunately, the person struck by a train this afternoon at Farragut West succumbed to injuries. Video shows it was an intentional act. “WMATA reports the Farragut West metro station is closed due to a medical emergency and investigation. Train service has been suspended between Metro Center and Foggy Bottom. Shuttle bus service have been requested.”
