“Dear PoPville,
So about a month ago we decided to go to Cafe Bonaparte in Georgetown for brunch, but it was closed with papered up windows and a sign about being closed for the week to paint.
However, that sign has been up since early September and their website has stated the same thing for as long.
Just wondering if anyone knew what the status of the restaurant is.”
I took a peak in the door over the weekend:
On September 9th they posted to their Facebook:
“We apologize for the inconvenience, but we will be closed this week to give our staff not only a vacation but the interior an upgrade with a fresh coat of paint!”
Updates when we learn more/an exact reopening date.
