Today’s Rental was chosen because the photos are great

This rental is located on Merdian Place near Holmead. The Craigslist ad says:

“$3900 / 3br – 1700ft2 – 3 BR | 2.5 BA w/garden and garage (Columbia Heights)

Conveniently located within a block or three to CoHi metro, groceries, gym and dining.

This end-unit row house has an abundance of light with exposures from three directions. There is an open floor plan with the ability to partition off the front living room with pocket and french doors. It’s a wonderful blend of original character (original pocket doors, wood floors, exposed brick) and modern conveniences (granite & stainless steel kitchen). The kitchen opens to the dining area with breakfast bar and the first floor includes both a living room, powder room and a Florida Room ideal for a second family room. When it comes to outdoor space, you may choose to relax on the front porch swing, grill on the rear landing or unwind in the private, flagstone patio garden.

Upstairs includes a master suite w/ensuite bath, complete with jacuzzi tub and multi-headed shower and body sprays. Two additional bedrooms and a hall bath complete the second floor. Garage parking. Owner is licensed agent.”

Potomac Harmony is Back! Following a gap year of competing, then virtual rehearsals during the pandemic, followed by the well-earned retirement of our long-term director, a year of a director search, Potomac Harmony hit the regional contest stage in Concord, North Carolina in March for the first time since 2018! It was exhilarating, reaffirming, and rewarding!

The chorus hit all of its goals, the biggest of which was to have fun and sing our best on contest stage — we did both! Because we earned a score over 400 points, our new Director, Allison Lynskey, was awarded the Novice Director award, photo above. Additionally, one of our charter members, Jackie Bottash, was nominated for and honored with the Leadership Excellence award. It was a celebratory weekend!

What’s next? So much! We now look forward to upcoming performances, growing our membership, and expanding our musical product with new arrangements and an education component each week. It’s an exciting time to be part of this ever-growing ensemble!
