Update from Alert DC 1:15pm: “MPD reports the police activity in the 3100 Block of 14th Street, NW is clear and the associate road closure is now open.”
Jeff wrote at 12:39pm: “the whole block around Target in Columbia Heights looks like it’s blocked off by police cars. Lots of ambulances and fire trucks as well. Any idea what’s up?”
Rachel replied:
“HAZMAT units putting on gas masks of some sort. Looks like something happened inside the Bank of America.”
