“Dear PoPville,
I’ve lived near Eastern Market for several years and have repeatedly been stopped by (mostly young women) “on their way to bible study”. The first couple of times it happened I thought they were lost or asking for directions. After the first couple of times anytime they stop me on the street I tell them very firmly to stop harassing me.
They have stopped me (always when I’m alone) while I was on the phone walking at night, while I was running with headphones in, while I was carrying groceries etc. all situations where I’m clearly not inviting anyone to come chat about god and I’m walking alone. Who are these people? Have others had this experience? What church are they affiliated with?”
