It’s Time for me to Shave My Head to help raise money for the fight against childhood cancers.

“The St. Baldrick’s Foundation is a volunteer-powered charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.”

Please help us in this fight. And if anyone donates $50 or more – I’ll throw in a PoPville sweatshirt (above) I have one small, one medium, one large and one XL so those’ll be on a first come first served basis. To everyone else, please give what you can because our team, Boundary Stone, has a huge fundraising goal this year and I got off to a late start so I’m way behind. You can make your donation here. The shaving event is March 10th at Boundary Stone which is always fun so please consider coming out for that and lifting a pint or two for a good cause. Thank you!

Lexi Grant, an operations manager at Well-Paid Maids, shared her go-to spring cleaning tips with WTOP News. Step one? Declutter. Get rid of items you don’t use, find space for items that need a home and organize those areas.

Then, it’s time to dust. Lexi starts with high-touch surface areas (think: refrigerator, dishwasher, counters, microwave). One area she sees often neglected is the bedroom — and it makes sense. Heavy furniture is difficult to move around, but it’s important to really get in there so dust doesn’t affect your sleep.
