“Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Special Investigations Branch seek the public’s assistance in identifying two persons of interest in reference to an Armed Kidnapping / Armed Robbery (Gun) offense that occurred on Wednesday, February 6, 2019, in the 1100 block of Shepherd Road, Northwest.
At approximately 1:53 am, the suspects approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect brandished a handgun and demanded property. The suspects assaulted the victim then forced him into the trunk of his vehicle. The suspects then fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle. Officers located the victim’s vehicle parked in the 7400 block of 9th Street, Northwest. The victim was found in the trunk of the vehicle. The victim was not injured.
The persons of interest were captured by a surveillance camera and can be seen in the video above.
Anyone who can identify these individuals or has knowledge of this incident should take no action but call police at (202) 727-9099 or text your tip to the Department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411.”
