“Catharsis on the Mall is a First Amendment oriented demonstration the purpose of which is to promote equality and equity for all peoples and to provide cathartic healing for marginalized populations such a indigineous peoples, LGBTQ and gender nonconforming peoples, racial and ethnic minorities, and women. This event is organized by dozens of organizers, artists, justice oriented activists, and movement builders from various reform spaces across the United States. It is a three-day event spanning from Friday November 9th to Sunday November 11th.”
