“Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Sexual Assault Unit are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect in connection with a First Degree Sexual Abuse offense that occurred on Sunday, October 21, 2018, in the 700 block of Longfellow Street, Northwest.
At approximately 6:45 am, the female victim was approached by the suspect, at the listed location, and forced into a nearby alley. The suspect then sexually assaulted the victim. After the assault, the suspect fled the scene on foot.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5’9” in height, with a stocky build, and short hair. He was last seen wearing a black jacket.
