“Dear PoPville,
I encountered a peeping tom masturbating outside the window of my ground floor unit last night.
I live on the hill near union station and H street and saw a peeping tom masturbating outside of my ground floor bedroom window last night at 11:45. He saw me notice him and made eye contact and some obscene gestures before running away when I picked up the phone to call the police.
I didn’t get a good look at him in the dark, but he was an African American guy wearing dark clothes.
The police came right away but he was already gone. I’m unsure if this is related, but there is also a lot of prostitution going on in the ally behind homes near H street. If anyone has a similar experience they should call the police right away.”
