“I accidentally left the keys to my car in the car door last Friday evening and someone stole my car (Corner and 3rd and T St NE). I caught it on my security camera, and from the footage it looks like my neighbor stole my car! I filed a police report and provided the footage to the police, but they don’t seem to care about the video. What good is the security footage if the police won’t act on it?? Seems like a waste of money since the city paid me $400 for system.
Video of the person stealing my car. You can see him coming out of his house, taking the keys from the car, then coming back and stealing it.
Someone told me they saw my car near the Cinemark Fairfax Corner 14 in Fairfax VA at 1:30pm on February 6th.
The car is a 2012 blue Hyundai Elantra hatchback. License plate # is EH4441.
Even if I don’t get the car back, people in the neighborhood should know about this!”
