From an email:

Supra (1205 11th Street, NW), DC’s first Georgian restaurant, set to open later this fall has just launched a kickstarter campaign. The campaign, details of which can be found here, is focused on fundraising for the restaurant’s artwork, which will feature pieces from Georgian, Russian and DC-based artists. Custom commissions include pieces from White Studio in Tbilisi (and artisans in the countryside), the Petrovka Art Studio in Moscow), and Schwa Design in Washington, DC. The owners, Jonathan and Laura Nelms, have also commissioned a Georgian street artist, Gagosh, who will paint a mural on the brick wall of the bar.

The rewards are varied, including t-shirts, Georgian alphabet post cards, khachapuri and khinkali classes, papakhi (a traditional, puffy Georgian hat, featured in the campaign’s video) and an opportunity to visit, tour and eat throughout Georgia. Check out the video for more details and an intro to the team, including the owners and Chef Malkhaz Maisashvili, former Embassy of Georgia chef, who makes some khinkali (Georgian soup dumplings) with Chef and Operations Manager Lonnie Zoeller.”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
