Full update from MPD:

“Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s (MPD) Internal Affairs Bureau are investigating an officer-involved shooting that occurred in the 1200 block of Holbrook Street, Northeast, on Thursday, February 23, 2017.

At approximately 10:42 pm, members of the Fifth District Crime Suppression Team were in the area responding to previous sounds of gunshots when they attempted to stop a subject. The subject attempted to flee and ignored multiple commands from the officers to stop. A struggle ensued and there was an exchange of gunfire.

DC Fire and EMS transported the suspect to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The suspect has been identified as 47-year-old Timothy Lionel Williams, of no fixed address.

Two MPD officers sustained non-life-threatening gunshot wounds and were transported to a local hospital in stable condition. One of the officers has currently been released from the hospital, and both are expected to make a successful recovery.

The suspect’s gun was recovered on scene and is pictured below.

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
