“Last week, heavy rains left many homes and businesses in South Louisiana inundated with floodwaters. The Louisiana State Society is hosting a Flood Relief Fundraiser to benefit flood victims. Join us on Wednesday, August 24th at the Front Page.
We will be accepting monetary donations online (debit or credit card) and onsite (cash or check) to raise funds for United Way of Southeast Louisiana and United Way of Acadiana. Please consider making a contribution to help our fellow Louisianians.
The LSU Alumni – DC Chapter is also hosting a fundraising event on Friday, August 26 at Rhodeside Grill in Arlington. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Louisiana Flood Relief Fund. Click here for more information about the event.
The Tulane Alumni Association will host its annual Katrina Happy Hour on Thursday, August 25 at Bayou on Penn. Donations will benefit Tulane City Center, Tulane School of Architecture’s community design center. Click here for more information about the event.”
