“What’s better than combining pictionary with cards against humanity? Adding $3 pints of PBR, prizes and free drinks!”

“What’s better than combining pictionary with cards against humanity? Adding $3 pints of PBR, prizes and free drinks! Every Tuesday at Ivy and Coney (1537 7th St NW) from 8-10 PM, you’ll find us on the deck playing Drawful, an awesome interactive game for the whole family (minus the kids, it can get a little adult-only). Every bar has got a trivia night, so we decided to change it up a bit and introduce people to this awesome game we’ve all become obsessed with playing. Everyone can play, no arcane knowledge is required, and bad artists are not only welcome, but encouraged to join in (don’t worry, we suck too). We’ll do as many rounds as we can fit into a couple hours (probably 4-7) and make sure everyone gets to enjoy the fun. So come drink with us, make some silly pictures and guess whether your friend just drew Britney Spears Riding an Eagle or A Kid Stuck On the Escalator Again.”

DRAWFULNIGHT

Also happening at Ivy and Coney:

“One of DC’s original and favorite – but now retired – food trucks returns curbside next week slinging what they were known best for: A whole lotta meat.

Ivy & Coney, the second bar and restaurant opened by Josh Saltzman of PORC food truck fame, will be serving their Chicago-style Italian Beef Sandwich aboard BBQ Bus starting Monday and ending Friday at Truckeroo.

The Italian Beef, a Chicago classic, is comprised of thinly sliced roast beef dipped in seasoned au jus and topped with giardiniera (spicy pickled vegetables) on an Italian hard roll. Order it DRY, WET (au jus ladled on) or DIPPED (the whole sandwich dipped into au jus).

And for BBQ Bus fans unable to catch the truck for a downtown lunch, the BBQ Bus Pulled Pork Sandwich will be on the menu at Ivy & Coney all next week.

Saltzman and business partner Trent Allen opened the PORC food truck in 2010, went on to open Kangaroo Boxing Club and retired the food truck two years later.

The Italian Beef is one of several new dishes on the newly expanded Ivy & Coney menu, which features Midwest favorites such as hot dogs, bratwursts and a weekend brunch. Ivy and Coney is at 1537 7th St NW and open Monday through Thursday 4 pm to 2 am, Friday 4 pm to 3 am, Saturday noon to 3 pm, and Sunday noon to 2 am.

Find the Italian Beef aboard BBQ Bus at the following lunch stops:

• Monday – Metro Center (12th and G Streets NW)
• Tuesday – Patent and Trademark Office (Ballenger Avenue and Dulaney Street in Alexandria)
• Wednesday – Franklin Square (13th and K Streets NW)
• Thursday – Cap South Metro (1st and D Streets SE)
• Friday – 11 am to 11 pm Truckeroo (1201 Half St. SE)”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
