“Around 10:00 am, MPD responded to the 5400 block of Kansas Avenue, NW for a reported shooting. MPD arrived on the scene and located an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment and the wound is deemed not life threatening at this time. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male with a red shirt and driving a gray SUV style vehicle.

If anyone has information regarding this offense please call the MPD CIC at 202-727-9099 or text at 50411.”
