I wanted to let you know that a local Petworth based author and my dear friend is going to have a book signing today in Petworth. She is an amazing Petworth woman who is worth noting. She is a female, African American Washingtonian author. She wrote the book based on her experiences traveling around the world when she was a child. Her father was a Foreign Service Officer and last Post Deputy Chief of Mission, Tunis, Tunisia.
