Peak Cherry Blossom Bloom Dates Are March 31-April 3!!

From WMATA:

“Metro announces five consecutive weekends of regular service, largely free of track work

In a sign that spring has finally arrived in the National Capital Region, Metro today announced five consecutive weekends of regular service–largely free of track work–for the 2016 Cherry Blossom season, a time when weekend ridership can nearly double.

This year, trains will run at regular weekend intervals over the following weekends*:

March 19-20
March 26-27
April 2-3
April 9-10
April 16-17

* Note: On these weekends, Metro may schedule track work after 10 p.m. on Sunday nights when ridership is extremely light. On March 19-20, Metro will single track at Glenmont Station on the Red Line; however, Red Line trains will continue to operate at regular weekend intervals.

In addition, track work this upcoming weekend (March 12-13) will be limited to just three stations on the Red Line and two stations on the Yellow Line. Specifically:

On the Red Line, riders at Glenmont, Wheaton and Forest Glen will be served by a shuttle train to/from Silver Spring every 20 minutes throughout the weekend. Customers should transfer between trains at Silver Spring to continue their trip.
On the Yellow Line Sunday morning, buses will replace trains at Eisenhower Ave and Huntington stations as Metro conducts an emergency response drill. Service at these stations will be normal all day Saturday and after the exercise concludes on Sunday afternoon.
All other stations will have regular Metrorail service throughout the weekend.

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
