“Dear PoPville,
There was a homeless man at 14th and W NW. I tried to get someone from the shelter to come pick him up but the hotline number keeps ringing as busy. He has since walked way and I can’t find him. I saw a police officer try to get him in a car but he would not get in. Can you post something for people to keep a look out for homeless. I have a tent I could give him, but I don’t know where he went.”
Previously the Mayor tweeted:
“If you or someone you know is homeless or needs shelter, call the shelter hotline at 1-800-535-7252 or 311. Help is available 24/7”
