“Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division (CID) announced an arrest has been made in connection with eleven Burglary Two offenses that occurred at the following locations:

On Tuesday, November 10, 2015, at approximately 4:52 am, in the 3400 block of 14th Street, Northwest. CCN: 15-179-400
On Saturday, November 21, 2015, at approximately 6:00 pm, in the 1700 block of Lanier Place, Northwest. CCN: 15-187-285
On Wednesday, November 25, 2015, at approximately 10:40 pm, in the 3200 block of Mount Pleasant Street, Northwest. CCN: 15-189-032
On Sunday, November 29, 2015, at approximately 12:01 am, in the 3500 block of 13th Street, Northwest. CCN: 15-190-418
On Monday, November 30, 2015, at approximately 12:09 am, in the 2700 block of 14th Street, Northwest. CCN: 15-190-889
On Tuesday, December 8, 2015, at approximately 1:42 am, in the 3000 block of Mount Pleasant Street, Northwest. CCN: 15-195-297

On Friday, December 18, 2015, at approximately 7:20 am, in the 3600 block of 14th Street, Northwest. CCN: 15-201-554

On Friday, December 18, 2015, after further investigation, members of CID arrested 45-year-old Jerry Kibler Jr. of Northwest, DC. He was charged with eleven counts of Burglary.

Potomac Harmony is Back! Following a gap year of competing, then virtual rehearsals during the pandemic, followed by the well-earned retirement of our long-term director, a year of a director search, Potomac Harmony hit the regional contest stage in Concord, North Carolina in March for the first time since 2018! It was exhilarating, reaffirming, and rewarding!

The chorus hit all of its goals, the biggest of which was to have fun and sing our best on contest stage — we did both! Because we earned a score over 400 points, our new Director, Allison Lynskey, was awarded the Novice Director award, photo above. Additionally, one of our charter members, Jackie Bottash, was nominated for and honored with the Leadership Excellence award. It was a celebratory weekend!

What’s next? So much! We now look forward to upcoming performances, growing our membership, and expanding our musical product with new arrangements and an education component each week. It’s an exciting time to be part of this ever-growing ensemble!
