Tiki Monkey, a Secret Monkey Social Club Spin-Off, Kicks Off Tonight

What: Tiki Monkey, a spinoff of the immensely popular Secret Monkey Social Club, takes place next week at the Dolcezza Gelato Factory & Coffee Lab. The team has been looking forward to presenting this take on the sometimes monthly punch and music event, and is excited to see it come to life. It will focus primarily on tiki punches with more tropical-oriented spirits, new faces in the lineup of guest bartenders, and a new sound for guests to enjoy.

Guests can look forward to enjoying punches from the following guest bartenders:

Doug Atwell, Rye (Baltimore)

Tyler Hudgens, The Dabney

Eddie Kim, Bar Otsukare

Michael Vincent Barton, Jack Rose

Vance Henderson, William Grant & Sons

Chas Jefferson, Cotton & Reed

Additionally, surf rock tunes will be provided by The Three Monketeers featuring guitarist Michael Kramer at 8:00, and DJ Smudgetown starting at 11:30.

Secret Monkey Social Club is the brainchild of Lukas B. Smith (currently of Dram & Grain and Jack Rose Dining Saloon, formerly beverage director of Daikaya) and Shayna Blass (actress, singer and dancer, appearing in Cabaret currently at Signature Theater, aims to pay homage to the cabarets of decades past with a lounge environment full of drinks and jazz.

Details: Guests will enjoy seven different punches at $9 per pour and PBR & Tullamore Dew combos at $7.  This event is 21+, and there is no door charge. “
