From a press release:
“Planned Parenthood supporters, community members and partner organizations will come together in Washington, DC, on Saturday (December 5th) for a National Day of Solidarity to remember the victims of the tragedy in Colorado Springs, to show support for access to safe reproductive health care free from violence, threats and intimidation, and to stand up against violent rhetoric inciting violence in our communities.
The event comes after a tragic shooting last week at a Planned Parenthood health center in Colorado Springs, CO, and a push by Congress, days after unspeakable violence, to double down on their attacks against reproductive health care — fast-tracking a bill that would block patients from services at Planned Parenthood health centers.
Participants and speakers remember the victims in Colorado and San Bernardino, CA, share personal stories and reflections, and unify against the hateful rhetoric that has incited violence against not only Planned Parenthood, but also the black community, immigrants, refugees, and the transgender community.
This event in Washington, DC, is part of a larger National Day of Solidarity, which will also see events in Denver, CO, and across the country. Below are logistics for the DC event for planning purposes:
WHO: Planned Parenthood supporters, ally organizations, community leaders
WHAT: National Day of Solidarity
WHEN: Saturday, December 5, at 10am ET. Doors open at 9:30 a.m. EST.
WHERE: All Souls Church Unitarian, 1500 Harvard St. NW”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.
You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.
It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
