“November 10: Cuba Photo Exhibit & Dialogue

It’s that wonderful time of year when we can all get to enjoy great photography exhibits and events all over DC as part of FotoWeekDC, taking place November 7-15. On November 10, join Photographer Roshani Kothari for an exhibit & dialogue on Cuba at Petworth Citizen. This has been a momentous year in Cuba-U.S. relations and let’s get together to celebrate and have a dialogue about its implications.

Date: Tuesday, November 10
Time: 6:30-8:30 pm
Location: Petworth Citizen, 829 Upshur St NW, Washington, DC 20011

About the Exhibit

Close your eyes and think of Cuba…What types of images does it conjure in your mind? Despite its isolation or maybe because of it, the forbidden island of Cuba is incredibly diverse and rich in terms of its history, culture, arts and the environment. Despite their continuing struggle or perhaps because of it, the Cuban people have become stronger and more resourceful. I traveled to Havana, Trinidad, and Viñales. All these places were beautiful! Whether I was walking the street in Havana, horseback riding in Viñales, or listening to live music in Trinidad, everywhere I went I stumbled across beautiful colors and captured these images.”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
