Beau Thai opened their new Shaw location on December 26th. On the 23rd they wrote:
“Today is Beau Thai’s LAST DAY at New Jersey and R! Stop by for some nostalgia and a meal!
After tonight’s dinner service, we will close this location to move Beau Thai Shaw to a fantastic new space just a couple blocks away at 7th and P Streets. We will open in the gorgeous bigger new location Friday, December 26, at 11 am.
It’s been an amazing four-plus years at 1700 New Jersey Avenue. While we’ve outgrown the building, it will always hold fond memories for us: It’s where restaurant owning dreams came true, community gathered, celebrations occurred, and friends and family met on countless occasions. Thanks for a great run here, and #GetExcited for an even more amazing new chapter on 7th Street.
Stay tuned for an announcement in January about the fantastic new restaurant taking Beau Thai’s place at New Jersey and R later this winter.”
Ed. Note: Back in July we heard some scuttlebutt that a noodle house would be taking over the old location, stay tuned.
