Unfortunately, MPD is currently responding to multiple shots fired at a home in the 700 block of Varnum Street, NW. At this time, there are no injuries to report. MPD responded within minutes and is searching for a burgundy Ford Explorer.
During our walk-thru, I spoke with residents and Commander Manlapaz about additional resources. MPD is all over Ward 4.
Of course, I am continuing to monitor the situation and remain in contact with MPD.
