“Tonight at around 10:15pm several shots were fired by an unknown suspect in the 4600 block of 9th St NW. A 12 year old boy was inside the house and a bullet struck him in the leg. He was taken to a local hospital where he is being treated. The injury does not appear to be life threatening. There is no additional information at this time. If anyone has any information regarding this offense, please call the MPD CIC at 202-727-9099 or text 50411.”
