Sexual Assault Suspects Sought in Dupont Circle and Georgetown Offenses

“Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect in connection with a First Degree Sexual Abuse offense that occurred in the area of Dupont Circle, Northwest.

On Sunday October 19, 2014, at approximately 3:45 am, an adult female was sexually assaulted inside of a vehicle in the area of Dupont Circle, Northwest.

The suspect is described as a black male, with dreadlocks, wearing khaki pants. The vehicle is described as a silver sedan and was occupied by three additional black males at the time of the assault.

Anyone with information regarding this case should call the police at 202-727-9099. Additionally, information may be submitted to the TEXT TIP LINE by text messaging 50411.”

[Ed. Note: I’m only finding a Prospect Street not Prospect Place in google maps.]

On Sunday October 19, 2014, at approximately 6:00 am, an adult female was sexually assaulted in the 3300 block of Prospect Place, Northwest.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5’7″ in height, in his twenties, clean shaven, last seen wearing a black leather jacket.

Anyone with information regarding this case should call the police at 202-727-9099. Additionally, information may be submitted to the TEXT TIP LINE by text messaging 50411.”

Potomac Harmony is Back! Following a gap year of competing, then virtual rehearsals during the pandemic, followed by the well-earned retirement of our long-term director, a year of a director search, Potomac Harmony hit the regional contest stage in Concord, North Carolina in March for the first time since 2018! It was exhilarating, reaffirming, and rewarding!

The chorus hit all of its goals, the biggest of which was to have fun and sing our best on contest stage — we did both! Because we earned a score over 400 points, our new Director, Allison Lynskey, was awarded the Novice Director award, photo above. Additionally, one of our charter members, Jackie Bottash, was nominated for and honored with the Leadership Excellence award. It was a celebratory weekend!

What’s next? So much! We now look forward to upcoming performances, growing our membership, and expanding our musical product with new arrangements and an education component each week. It’s an exciting time to be part of this ever-growing ensemble!
