“Dear PoPville,
Cedar is an adorable, hilarious, loving, energetic, and clumsy 1.5 year old labradoodle-of-sorts rescue pup, and he’s brought an incredible amount of joy into our lives.We were broken-hearted to find out recently that our little guy has a heart condition called PDA, which basically means that there is a small hole in his heart. There is a curative surgery for PDA which would enable him to live a full and normal life, but the cost is enormous. Without the surgery, he’ll live for at most one year.
Cedar is fully a member of our family, he’s about to be a big brother (I’m due with a baby girl in November)! We want to do everything we possibly can to give our guy the happiest, longest life possible because we love the little dude so very much. But paying his medical bills is going to be a real struggle for us.
Cedar’s rescue was kind enough to set up a donation page to help us fund his life saving surgery, and you can access it or share it from here.
