Between Shady Grove & Glenmont: every 15 minutes
Between Grosvenor & Silver Spring: every 8-10 minutes Saturday & Sunday from 9AM-9PM only
Work Performed: Rail tie and insulator renewal between Shady Grove and Twinbrook
Orange Line
Trains every 12-24 minutes
Orange Line trains will operate as follows:
Every 22 minutes on Friday after 10 p.m. and all day Saturday
Every 24 minutes on Sunday between Vienna and New Carrollton; every 12 minutes between East Falls Church and Stadium-Armory
Work Performed: Platform rehabilitation between Minnesota Avenue and Cheverly
Blue Line
Trains every 22-24 minutes
Blue Line trains will operate as follows:
Every 22 minutes on Friday after 10 p.m. and all day Saturday
Every 24 minutes on Sunday Franconia-Springfield and Largo Town Center; every 12 minutes between Rosslyn and Largo Town Center (trains will be labeled and operating as Orange Line trains)
Work Performed: Rail joint elimination and fence replacement between Braddock Road and Van Dorn Street; switch replacement preparation, tunnel inspection and repair between Benning Road and Capitol Heights
Yellow Line
Regular weekend service between Huntington & Fort Totten
Green Line
Buses replace trains at Greenbelt Station on Saturday and Sunday
Free shuttle buses will replace Green Line trains between Greenbelt and College Park. Riders using shuttle bus service should allow about 15 minutes of travel time.
Green Line trains at normal weekend intervals between College Park and Branch Ave.
Station Closed: Greenbelt
Work Performed: Continued construction of a new test track located between College Park and Greenbelt to accept Metro’s new fleet of 7000-series railcars”

Potomac Harmony is Back! Following a gap year of competing, then virtual rehearsals during the pandemic, followed by the well-earned retirement of our long-term director, a year of a director search, Potomac Harmony hit the regional contest stage in Concord, North Carolina in March for the first time since 2018! It was exhilarating, reaffirming, and rewarding!
The chorus hit all of its goals, the biggest of which was to have fun and sing our best on contest stage — we did both! Because we earned a score over 400 points, our new Director, Allison Lynskey, was awarded the Novice Director award, photo above. Additionally, one of our charter members, Jackie Bottash, was nominated for and honored with the Leadership Excellence award. It was a celebratory weekend!
What’s next? So much! We now look forward to upcoming performances, growing our membership, and expanding our musical product with new arrangements and an education component each week. It’s an exciting time to be part of this ever-growing ensemble!
