“Dear PoP,

Operations Free Fall is a charitable event – the only one of its kind – to increase awareness of sexual violence. The organization describes it as a “Two-Mile High stand against sexual violence”. Thousands of women and men, survivors and supporters will meet at drop zones across the country and skydive to promote the main mission of SOAR (Speaking Out Against Rape). Each skydiver must raise a minimum of $1,000 to participate, with two thirds of that amount going to local community organizations to help victims.

The FBI categorizes rape as the second most violent crime a person can experience, second only to murder. To put it another way, it’s the most violent and traumatic crime any victim lives to remember. Every two minutes, another American is sexually assaulted. It is the most under-reported of all crimes in the United States.

This is a great cause, so please donate to one of the “jumpers” on the site!

On the Operation Freefall page on the top right hand side there are 2 ways to donate; you can click view all fundraising pages and read through some of the individual survivors and supporters stories and pick one that you can identify with. Or you can just click the Donate button to give directly to the SOAR organization.”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
