From a press release:

“Bar Pilar, located at 1833 14th St. NW, is welcoming 2014 with a new menu and a new happy hour, thanks to Chef Jesse Miller. Already known for their “exciting and rotating menu of dishes” featuring simple, yet refined New American Cuisine, Chef Jesse marries comfort and adventure with his freshest approach to the very best of small plates. Local ingredients and unique flavor combinations like the Coffee Rubbed Pork Sliders and Pickled Pig Ear Slaw for $9 are guaranteed to warm your belly without burning your purse strings. Looking for your traditional favorites with a twist? Enjoy the Crab Mac n Cheese with White Cheddar and Old Bay for $7 or Confited Duck and Bison Pot Pie with a Tangerine and Herb Salad for $13. “Bar Pilar has been a part of my life for a long time. And to me, this menu is Bar Pilar. Its fun, open and has something for everyone” says Miller, the Baltimore native who took over as executive chef of both Bar Pilar and Café St.Ex in 2013. “We hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed creating it.”

If that’s not enough to tempt your taste buds and get your mouth watering for dinner then get ready for Happy Hour. “It’s 5 o’clock somewhere…and $5 here!” Enjoy rotating rum daiquiris with enough variety to keep even the most novel rum tasters on their toes, draft slow n low (the old fashioned in a bottle), white, red and even a bubbly wine option. Chef Jesse will also feature tasty trotter tots and signature snacks. All for $5!”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
