Host Homes Needed in DC and Maryland for at risk youth:
“I work as a counselor at the Latin American Youth Center’s Host Homes Program. We are currently seeking host families and individuals with an extra room in their home who are willing to open up their heart (and home) to a runaway or homeless youth aged 12-17. This is an amazing opportunity to provide a safe and stable home to a youth in need. Our program provides all host parents with financial support as well as 24 hour case management and counseling services for the youth. If you or someone you know might be interested in providing a host home for a youth in need, you can contact my colleague Sahira or myself, at hostdc(at)layc-dc.org or at 202-643-1754.
