“Listed below are recent robbery arrests made within the last week.

First District

Monday, December 16, 2013 at approximately 5:35 pm, a complainant reports that while in the 100 block of 17th Street, NE, he was approached by seven males who demanded his property. The complainant refused and was assaulted. A juvenile male was arrested for Assault with intent to Rob.

Thursday, December 19, 2013, at approximately 8:01 pm, two complainants reported that while in the 700 block of 7th Street, NE, two suspects approached them, brandished a knife and assaulted one of the complainants. Taken was an iPhone. Two adult males were arrested for Robbery while Armed.

Fourth District

Friday, December 20, 2013, at approximately 1:54 am, a complainant reports that while in the 3500 block of 14th Street NW, two suspects assaulted him and took his credit cards. An adult male and an adult female were arrested for Robbery Force and Violence.

Fifth District

Monday, December 16, 2013, at approximately 9:50 pm, a complainant reports that while in the 3000 block of 16th Street, NE, he was approached by two male suspects armed with handguns, who announced a robbery. Taken were two cell phones and US currency. An adult male and a juvenile were arrested for Robbery while Armed.

Monday, December 16, 2013, at approximately 9:55 pm, a complainant reports that while in the 1200 block of Mount Olivet Road, NE, she was approached by a male suspect who produced a knife, took the complainant’s purse and fled. An adult male was arrested for Robbery Hold Up Knife.

Seventh District

Monday, December 16, 2013, at approximately 1:52 am, a complainant reports that while in the 4000 block of 1st Street, SE, he was approached by two male suspects, one of whom produced a handgun. Taken was a watch and US currency. Two adult males were arrested for Robbery while Armed.”
