Leah asks: “Major construction at the old slipstream on 14th! Any scuttlebutt on what’s going in?”
On last weekend’s walkabout I saw a worker inside the old Slipstream space and he tells me a Springbone Kitchen is coming and it is hoping to open here in late January or February. He also says after this location they have plans to open one in Arlington.
ICYMI: DC’s first Springbone Kitchen opened in Georgetown back in December 2025.
One also opened on M Street in the old Roti space on M Street back in April.
