Yo!! You cannot keep the Post Pub down!!
This spot was previously home to the Persian restaurant, Kabuli Pulao, for a hot second before “temporarily” closing. And now a liquor license has been posted for the Post Pub (good thing they didn’t paint over the side signage, see above…).
I just got off the phone with the owner of Kabuli Pulao who tells me he will be reopening the space as the Post Pub as soon as the new liquor license comes through. There will be an American menu with “great sandwiches” (and more), he tells me.
The new placard for the Post Pub says:
“New Retailer’s Class “C” Restaurant with seating for 85 and a Total Occupancy Load of 85 indoors. An Entertainment Endorsement is requested to provide Live Entertainment with Dancing and Cover Charge. Carry-out and Delivery Endorsement. Holiday Extension of Hours Endorsement.”
Stay tuned for an exact opening date, hopefully in a month or so.
