“Walked by the large tree in Dupont Circle yesterday that was severely damaged during the wild storm we had on 9/3.
The tree is still alive, and to protect it’s remaining bark, notes and memories are being diverted to an online tribute website – a very professional one at that. “The Old Oak of Dupont” now even has a stylized font and logo!”

But somebody explain to me the rotted damage inside/the hole you can see up top – is that not terminal damage?
