Wanted to flag that the National Guard appears to be moving into more apartment buildings in SW DC.
It’s the Verge apartments. I also happened to just spot National Guard using the Watermark’s private loading dock in three sprinter vans across the way. It’s unclear if they are housed there solely from the photos but I really think this is a bigger story of what’s going on across this entire neighborhood (a comment on your post about the first apartment building also named The Stacks and Vermeer also in the same one-block radius).”
