Wanted to share that many National Guard just moved into a luxury apartment complex in SW DC.
They have rental furniture that was brought several weeks ago. Unsure if they each get their own apartment or have to share.
With rent being on average $2400 for 1BR or $4-5K for 2BR it is astonishing that tax payer dollars are going towards accommodation alone.“
