“I walked by the former Black Coffee space on MacArthur Blvd in the Palisades the other day and noticed serious progress (re)building out the space. I asked a neighborhood friend in the know and she reported that it is going to be a Maman.

There is some backstory to why all those stores (other than BlackSalt and MacArthur Beverages) closed, but I don’t know the details. The owner proposed to build up with residential units on top and either couldn’t get it approved by the City or decided it was too expensive. Regardless, thrilled to have another good destination in the neighborhood and hoping that will lead to filling the other commercial spaces in that strip.”
