A reader requested I share this stolen cargo bike BOLO from The WABA Cargo Bike Library:
“Our beloved Xtracycle Swoop was stolen on Monday at 2am.
We are incredibly grateful for the outpouring of support from our community, our volunteers, MPD and Park Police to work toward recovering this bike!
We believe it to be located in or near 3801 Connecticut Ave NW or in Rock Creek Park or in the vicinity.
PLEASE KEEP EYES PEELED FOR THIS BIKE!!!!!
– Xtracycle Swoop
– Pale blue with black monkey bars
– Black bag in front (may have been removed)
– Purple cargo bike library stickers (may have been removed)
– No battery
If you spot it, please call or text us immediately (202-596-7323) and/or call 911.
