13th and Florida Ave, NE

Sharing for awareness.
Last night at 13th & Florida there were 4–6 unmarked vehicles with red and blue flashing lights on the bottom of their cars(one with a Carvana license plate frame) pulling over multiple cars in the same spot.
The individuals were following a MPD SUV but were not in standard uniforms — wearing cargo pants, hoodies, sneakers, and vests labeled “Special Police.” Vehicles had various out-of-state plates.
They were having drivers exit their cars and conducting thorough searches. To note all drivers were sent on their way. Just flagging in case others have seen this or have more info.
It was really between 13th and 14th Street NE and to be even more specific as I observed after sending to you they were parked/hiding on Staples St, but they were up and down that entire stretch for many hours last night.”
