Looking for some more info about a car crash on Friday evening! Luckily nobody was hurt, but our car got sideswiped by a Washington Gas truck who failed to clear a right turn onto 6th St NW from Florida last night (around 5 pm).
Basically the step up to the cab on the driver side of the truck scraped against the rear driver side of our car and kind of lodged itself against the rear tire. A really kind human helped me to safely unlodge without totally destroying the rear wheel of our car. There was still some serious damage, but it could have been way worse. He walked away before I got the chance to thank him, so if you see this, thank you sir! The driver and truck passenger were very cordial and we exchanged information (the passenger also helped get us untangled), but if anyone else who reads this happened to witness the accident, it would be great to hear from them. Be careful on those narrow streets!”
