14th and I Street, NW opened here in December 2017
This is getting worse than the Quiznos debacle of 2014/2015…
Thanks to J. and N. for sending the lastest Compass Coffee closure: “Compass 14th and I closed.”

This closure follows closings at 8th and Florida Ave, NW, Adams Morgan, 14th and U Street, NW and 7th Street near the Convention Center.
The Compass Coffee bloodbath continues. In January 2026 we posted that “Compass Coffee is declaring chapter 11”
