“UPDATE: Red Line: No longer single tracking. Customers will experience residual delays in both directions following an earlier cracked rail at Dupont Circle.”
Initial reports starting around 5am:
“Red Line: Trains are single tracking between Dupont Circle and Farragut North because of a cracked rail at Dupont Circle. Customers will experience delays in both directions.”
“UPDATE: Red Line: Trains are single tracking between Dupont Circle and Farragut North because of a cracked rail at Dupont Circle. Customers will experience delays in both directions. Some trains will offload at Judiciary Square to minimize train traffic.”
