I’ve parked on the street for years outside my house in NE without problems. It has always been clearly marked: no parking to the left, zone parking to the right.
This morning I woke up to a ticket with tow request in what has always a legal spot.
It seems that at some point the
‘no parking’ sign was replaced with one that now has the arrow pointing in the wrong direction. No resident would ever notice such a little change – thankfully I wasn’t towed.
Parking enforcement was kind enough to note “SIGN CLEARLY VISIBLE” on the ticket. Technically true, I guess.
Reported to 311 and DDOT.”
