Sette Osteria Temporarily Closed in Dupont Circle – Most Certainly Related to Saturday Morning’s “Fire in ductwork of a restaurant”

1666 Connecticut Ave, NW

“Dear PoPville,

Sign of the times, I passed it the other night (Saturday) and it was closed, but all lit up. The signs are now in the window.

They were seldom very busy, so I wouldn’t be shocked if this is a permanent closure.”

I walked by a building/roof fire on Saturday morning so hopefully related and they’ll be able to reopen soon.

Sette Osteria’s website says:

“Sette, meaning seven in Italian for that extra luck, is your spot for a fusion of comfort and traditional Italian vibes. Beyond a restaurant, Sette Osteria is a destination for locals and wanderers alike. Our decor is all about people, featuring an open kitchen with a wood-fired pizza station and views of vibrant Connecticut Avenue and R Streets. It’s inviting, sophisticated, and buzzing with an international flair.”

STAY TUNED.
