I recently opened a small gifts shop on the 1500 block of U ST NW called Queertown (1520 U ST NW, in the previous Big Planet Comics space), which offers merchandise specifically curated for the LGBTQ+ community and its allies. In an effort to increase some awareness of the shop, and for a good cause, tomorrow, I’m throwing a fundraiser for Whitman-Walker from 1 to 4 PM.
