“Aerial structure repairs will close stations on the Blue, Orange, and Silver lines” this weekend

From WMATA:

“On Saturday, Oct. 4, and Sunday Oct. 5, free shuttle buses will replace trains between Eastern Market and Minnesota Av/Benning Road on the Blue, Orange, and Silver Lines.

Potomac Av and Stadium-Armory stations will be closed.

Two express buses will operate during the weekend. One will run from Eastern Market to Minnesota Av and the other will run from Eastern Market to Benning Road.

Two local shuttles will stop at each closed station along the Blue Line and Orange Line.

Crews will be repairing aerial structures.

The Green Line will also single-track from Navy Yard to Anacostia on Saturday and Sunday.

On Saturday only, Green Line trains will operate between Branch Av and Mt Vernon Sq and Yellow Line trains will operate between Huntington and Greenbelt.

Saturday, Oct. 4 only

Crews will replace platform edge lighting at stations.
Service Information

Red Line: Normal service

Orange Line: Trains operate in two segments from Vienna to Eastern Market and Minnesota Av to New Carrollton. Trains every 12 minutes during the day and every 15 minutes after 9:30 p.m.

Silver Line: Trains operate from Ashburn to Federal Center SW. Trains every 12 minutes during the day and every 15 minutes after 9:30 p.m.

Blue Line: Trains operate in two segments from Franconia-Springfield to Eastern Market and Benning Road to Downtown Largo Trains every 12 minutes during the day and every 15 minutes after 9:30 p.m.

Yellow Line: Trains every 8 minutes all day. On Saturday, trains operate between Huntington and Greenbelt. On Sunday, trains operate between Huntington and Mt. Vernon Square.

Green Line: Trains every 16 minutes throughout most of the weekend. On Saturday, trains operate between Branch Av and Mt. Vernon Square. On Sunday, trains operate between Branch Av and Greenbelt with trains every 16 mins. After 12:15 p.m., trains operate every 8 minutes.”
