Oktoberfest! I just learned it traditionally starts Sep. 20 and only goes through Oct 5 – so can we share best suggestions for schnitzel, spaetzle, pretzel and of course beer?
I will start with (totally unexpected) Wonderland Ballroom.
I spent two hours with a friend’s German grandmother once learning to make spaetzle and Wonderland’s was (sorry granny) just as good. And schnitzel! I’m not even much of a meat eater, but I’ll burn in vegetarian hell for how good this was.“
