From a press release:
“After the sensational, much-buzzed-about openings of its first two DC-area locations, Wonder, the next-generation food hall satisfying diners’ cravings by making delicious fare from the nation’s best restaurants and chefs available in a single order, is thrilled to announce the Sept. 4 launch of its third Washington-area location, in West End.
A stone’s throw from George Washington and Georgetown universities, the World Bank, and dozens of medical offices and hotels, Wonder West End is opening in the heart of this bustling neighborhood, making dining in and incredibly fast, free pickup and delivery easier and more convenient than ever. A grand opening celebration and ribbon-cutting beginning at 4:30 will feature samples from Wonder’s restaurant partners, live music with DJ Tezrah, and exclusive Wonder gifts.

To mark the opening of Wonder West End and further celebrate Wonder’s exciting expansion in the region, this fall, Wonder will spotlight its partnership with one of DC’s most important chefs, José Andrés – also a member of the Wonder board – by introducing Andrés’s popular Jota Salad to its Royal Greens menu in DC for a limited time. Bright, tart, crunchy and creamy, this creative fennel, apple and manchego salad is a perfect example of how Wonder’s partnerships with top chefs such as Andrés are giving guests more opportunities to satisfy their cravings for restaurant-quality meals. The salad will be available for delivery, dine in or take out through the Wonder app through the end of the year at all Wonder DC, Virginia and College Park locations. From Sept. 8 through the end of October, ordering the Jota Salad at Wonder comes with an added perk — an exclusive complimentary item to enjoy at Chef Andrés’ DC restaurants including The Bazaar, China Chilcano, Jaleo, Oyamel, and Zaytinya (minibar and barmini are excluded).
Beyond this exciting collaboration, Wonder West End will bring the neighborhood a mix of Wonder-exclusive restaurants in one storefront, such as Walnut Lane, a California-inspired eatery from James Beard Award winner Jonathan Waxman; Alanza, with Italian American classics from Chef Al Lanza; and the Greek-influenced Chios Taverna from celebrity chef Michael Symon. Rounding out the list of 20 eateries are Texas staple Tejas Barbecue, Marcus Samuelsson’s Streetbird as well as Wonder-curated menus like Royal Greens and Room for Dessert, featuring a collection of specialties from Magnolia Bakery, Baked by Melissa and more.
A proud partner of DC Central Kitchen, the nonprofit and social enterprise that combats hunger and poverty through job training and job creation, Wonder will once again donate $1 from every meal sold in the first week of Wonder West End to DCCK, and continue to give patrons the opportunity to “round up” their change to make a donation to DCCK with every order, year-round.
Wonder entered the DC market in July with Wonder 14th Street, with ambitious plans to soon serve much of the DMV delicious chef-driven fare, for quick, convenient dine-in, pickup or free delivery. Following the opening of West End, Wonder plans to open locations in Franconia (7005 Manchester Blvd.), College Park (7423 Baltimore Ave.), Canton Crossing (3821 Boston Street, Baltimore), Navy Yard (111 N St. SE), Reston (11690 Plaza America Drive), and Cleveland Park (3519 Connecticut Ave. NW).
Wonder West End will be open 10:30am-11:30pm daily.”
